Workshops with Trevor Lock (online)

Joke Hospitals

Online Joke Hospitals are 2 hour comedy writing classes held on various days in different time zones that improve the quality (and quantity)  of your material by exposing it to new creative techniques and  weekly critical feedback from fellow comedians and writers from around the world  in a fun and supportive environment. £20 each or 6 for £100

Testimonials

“Joke Hospital has helped my comedy writing enormously. I’ve learned to dig deeper into my material by asking myself the right questions, identifying concepts and ideas to explore further, and staying true to my own point of view. As a result, I’ve been able to turn single premises into full bits that really click with the audience. Joke Hospital is also a great place to meet and get invaluable feedback from fellow comedians who also attend the classes. Everyone is really generous and every session is a lot of fun.” Irene Meneguzzi, Barcelona

REALIiTY GAM3S

REALIiTY GAM3S is a Psychological/Art/Creativity/Productivity/Experimental Playshop. For the price of a cup of coffee a day (£2.79/£81 in total) 5 people from anywhere in the world to give up a minimum of 5 minutes of their day for 28 days to join in with daily and weekly tasks and activities designed to .. er.. slightly alter your reality and then meet up online once a week in zoom style debriefings.

Requirements:
Each participant must complete daily and weekly homework and fieldwork exercises to be recorded with photos or short written notes. Time required is a minimum of 5 minutes a day.

One 90 minutes weekly Zoom style group presentation/debriefings where you will share a 5 minute presentation on your week’s fieldwork. Everyone will be given the same tasks but since each person is a different person, in a different place, part of the experiment will be to observe the differences and similarities in everyone’s approaches. Each presentation receives 15 minutes of group feedback and discussion. At the end of the 2 hour debrief the following weeks tasks are revealed.

I ask you to commit to the price of a cup of coffee a day (£2.79), an amount designed to be small enough not to be a barrier to anyone but just enough for you to be motivated to do your fieldwork and turn up to presentations.

At the end of the 4 weeks you will have built up a store of material/interesting stories.. At the minimum Reality Games is designed to make your life more interesting and inspired, and at the maximum… who knows…?

Why would you join Reality Games?
