Tasmin Sarkany: NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL BACH! (WIP)
Sunday 4th January 2026, 5:30pm to 6:30pm - The Bill Murray
Tasmin Sarkany (BBC New Comedy Awards nominee 2025, Musical Comedy Awards finalist 2023) plays Amelia Crotchet, a classical musician in a double act with her violin. She’s about to play the most important concert of her career: a complete performance of Bach's Chaconne for solo violin, accompanied by a history of his life and works - but unfortunately, Amelia is easily distracted. Expect silliness, musical puns, historically questionable facts about Bach and (if she gets round to it) some beautiful classical music.
“Highly skilful... ingenious” Chortle
“captured the spirit of musical comedy… not something you see every day” Beyond the Joke
“proof that you can still have a completely original (and slightly bonkers) idea” Funny Women
