Representing the world of science, we have MARK SILCOX.

Man like Mobeen / University Challenge / Joel Lycett’s Got Your Back.

Mark, unlike most international babe magnets, has stayed rooted to his foundations.

Still (and always) a part-time secondary school science teacher. Mark has a PHD in Analytical Chemistry, electrochemiluminescence sensor for electrophoresis. A bundle of laughs. It has been said before that being in the presence of Mark Silcox is the same as spending two months in a Tibetan cave. Cold and unsettling.

Representing the gurus & the grandads, we have CHRIS ALLEN.

A comic who took some time out to go on a spiritual journey in the hope of finding happiness. He says he found it? So we’re not quite sure why he’s back doing comedy.

He claims to have found his voice! A response to his review from the Daily Telegraph after performing at The Natty’s final at ‘The Hackney Empire’ in 2019.’

A review that claimed, ‘Chris Allen shows potential but is yet to find his voice.’ He’s meditated on any dislike of that remark away and is back with unconditional love and humour, whatever that means?

After years of research in their respective fields, these two comics each present their material to a crowd of truth-seekers, soul-searchers, and those of you who have given up all hope.

David has also done plenty of telly comedy turns including Good Morning Britain on ITV, The Travel Show on BBC2, Michael Grade and The World’s Oldest Joke on BBC4 as well as appearing on The Today Programme on BBC Radio 4, Greg James Animal News on BBC Radio 1, Adrian Chiles’s Show on BBC 5Live, talkSPORT, BBC London and BBC World Service. He's done a ton of various podcasts, radio and online comedy shows too. He loves it but could do with a sit down…
