Heidi Regan interviewed by Harriet Kemsley

Harriet Kemsley interviews comedian Heidi Regan about her debut novel: How to Slay Dragons and Influence Peasants, a hilarious fairytale/fantasy spoof in the style of The Princess Bride and Terry Pratchett. Released just this October, Harriet will chat to Heidi about the writing process, and comedy in general, before opening it up to audience questions.

Book Synopsis: “When a naive Seer tells a wizard how he is going to die, the ungrateful mage banishes her to a mountain cave for 400 years. Trying to make the best of things, she offers her soothsaying services – and pithy life advice – to anyone who will come visit her.

The Seer hides her wisdom inside thrilling tales, several of which have been compiled here.

“Hilarious and curiously wise: It's an Oscar Wilde fairytale meets Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy” – RICHARD GLOVER, writer and broadcaster.
