Comedy at The Bill Murray

The Bill Murray is Angel Comedy HQ. A club, pub and hub, open 7 days a week, hosting an eclectic range of the finest comedy around.

The Bill Murray is more than a wonderfully intimate, well proportioned comedy club. It’s also a creative space where comedians can meet, write, rehearse and perform, and where we run comedy courses and comedy projects for our local community. And it’s a lovely pub, serving drinks and snacks every day from 5pm. And of course, there’s comedy…

“Comedian, Tats Nkonzo thought he was a good guy until his 2-year old son kissed a homeless man and tilted his moral compass. This is a show where the audience bears witness to honest comedic confessions with funny, yet challenging ideas about masculinity, privilege and spider vagina.

We live in a time where being correct is essential and it is risky to be wrong. This South African act throws caution to the wind with hilarious effect. In this stand up comedy show, Tats boldly puts himself on the line to be seen as horrible or human, irrelevant or important… Either way, he is Sorry Not Sorry.”

Brand new stand up show from multi award winning Patrick Monahan who compares life as an Irish/Iranian teenager in the 90’s. As identity cards and ‘Cool Britannia’ were being introduced, Monahan found himself on the periphery as a teenager – trying to blend in but ending up with all the other ethnic groups!

“His tales of being an immigrant to Britain are thought-provoking yet hilarious, he loves his audience and they love him back. Patrick is a Fringe Legend and it’s easy to see why.” ★★★★ Mirror
