Isy Suttie and Chris Neill: Work in Progress

Monday 23rd May 2022, 6:30pm to 8:30pm - The Bill Murray

Isy Suttie and Chris Neill perform a mix of work-in-progress stand up and stories.
Isy has been performing stand up for nearly twenty years, with three sell-out Edinburgh Fringe runs under her belt. Her show Pearl and Dave became a Radio 4 series, Isy Suttie's Love Letters, which won a Gold Sony Award.

Her TV appearances include QI, Would I Lie To You and 8 Out of 10 Cats, along with acting roles including Dobby in Peep Show and Ali in Man Down. Her debut novel, Jane Is Trying, was published this summer.

Tonight she will probably be talking about ouija boards and Shredded Wheat, amongst other topics.

"Quirkily endearing" - The Scotsman

Chris Neill is a writer and comedian of whom The Observer said, "He is like a rapid-fire English David Sedaris. Every word is perfectly chosen and perfectly used; actually, he has something of Alan Bennett, too." Tonight he'll be trying out new material for his forthcoming BBC Radio 4 series, Raging Enigma.

"Neill may be first and foremost a comedian, but his observations are as acute as any novelist’s. Sweet, sharp and very funny." - The Times

6:00 PM - Doors open
- Isy Suttie

Presented by Angel Comedy.
