Welcome To Angel Comedy

2 venues. 7 nights a week. 100% funny.

In the words of Time Out, we’re “a comedy institution”.

Angel Comedy brings you free, top notch comedy every night of the week at our original venue, upstairs at the Camden Head, Islington.

Since the November of 2016 there’s been even more incredible comedy on offer, with the launch of our very own venue, the Bill Murray, just round the corner on Queen’s Head Street. As well as a programme of amazing comedy, there’s courses, rehearsal space, community projects and more. Oh, and it’s also a lovely pub.

Improv Level B is the second class in the beginner improv program at The Second City. These improv classes are for anyone who wants to learn how to improvise, including students who want to do improv for fun, to better their professional skills, or to eventually pursue it professionally. In Level B, students build upon the skills they learned in Level A and start learning how to improvise scenes. Strong, relationship-based scene work is the backbone of the work we do at The Second City. Students learn the skills crucial to scene work, including emotion, listening, and transformation, as well as continue to hone skills learned in Level A, like ensemble, object work, and “yes, and.”
