After a total sell-out in July, ABC is back for an evening of stellar stand-up, skits and songs from some of the best darn comedians in the game. Except this time, we’ve upped the ante by doing it on Halloween, the spookiest night of the year. Enter, if you dare, to see us ram the crowbar of comedy into the door of the crypt, tear it open, and see what ghouls come tumbling out. But seriously, it’s all for a great cause. We’re raising money for the Harinder Veriah Trust. The Trust assists two schools in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia which provides primary and secondary education to some of the poorest girls in the region, as well as providing them with a free daily lunch, free uniforms, school equipment, and extra weekly tuition. This is a fantastic cause which helps many girls each year to realise their potential, escape from poverty, and transform their community. (http://www.harinderveriahtrust.org)
Two big-selling, Guardian-recommended sketch-slingers. Will Hislop and Barney Fishwick are “smartly self-aware but capable of dishing out big, daft laughs too” (List)
Dubbed the Swedish Amy Schumer for her standup which “seamlessly weaves personal anecdotes with complex cultural and political themes” ★★★★ (The Skinny). She won the first Pleasance Indie Award for Best Newcomer.
Armed with uniquely analytical observations (and the coveted ‘Best Joke of the Fringe’ title), Ken will be delivering “a perfectly-constructed masterclass” (Chortle).
A sketch duo
With some ‘crazy’ characters
